Mac: Remote Devices lose port assignments on restart

Hi All,

I’ve recently started using Lemur on iPad to control various things. However, the MIDI port mappings assigned in Generic Remote are not recalled after restarting Cubase.

Additionally, in MIDI Port Setup, when I uncheck the boxes in IN ALL MIDI INPUTS for my ports, these are not remembered upon restarting.

Can anyone shed any light here?

It’s the known issue of OS X, nothing to do with either lemur or cubase. Once you configure, cubase remembers the setting as long as you don’t restart the computer; restarting cubase has no effects on the settings.

Thanks for replying. I’ve learned elsewhere that putting your Mac into sleep, rather than shutting down, averts this problem. Not ideal, but good to know.
