Somehow I just got stuck with audio not working after I switched audio devices for a project, to record an external source via a different audio driver than the one I usually use when working inside Nuendo (the built-in audio).
Now after restarting Nuendo, I see that the correct device is selected, however I can’t select any device in the Control Room anymore.
I can restart Nuendo in “Safe Mode” and discard my current preferences and the audio will work fine again. It’s just weird that it behaves this way just because I switched my audio driver midway of working.
Has anyone else experienced this before? What’s your workaround?
