I am trying add path for the Nuendo Steinberg stock plugins, looking in the VST manager for many plugins the path is shown as /Applications/Nuendo 14.app/Contents/VST3. This leads to the Nuendo application not to a VST3 folder.
Any ideas please
There’s no need to do this, it is configured by the program, the path is not user configurable.
Thanks for your prompt reply, I understand where you are coming from, I just need to point a programme to the path not change it. I am setting up SSL 360 and it is not picking up any Steinberg plugins, all 3rd party plugins are available so I need the path or another solution.
If by “Steinberg Plugins” you mean “proprietary stock effects and tools Steinberg built into Cubendo,” like Magneto II or REVelation (basically everything you haven’t purchased an additional license for, like GA or HALion), then you can’t. Those only run inside the Cubase/Nuendo DAW and are not exposed to other hosts.
Thanks.
SSL 360 only sees my SSL Plugins when I use it.
I presume he means the 360 Link “VST Mapper” feature where you can load 3rd-party VSTs in a “host mode” in order to map the UC1 controller to your existing plugins.
HI, you are correct forgot to add the “link” part.
Thank you.
