New to the Steinberg forum. I own both Cubase 10.5 & Nuendo 10. I am attempting to create a large control surface array based on the Mackie Control Universal Pro & its extenders. I was hoping to size it as large as 56 faders (1 master unit & 6 extenders). Has anyone tried to add more than the recommended max of 4 units (master & 3 extenders). After discussing this with Mackie, their response was that expandability was not limited by hardware but by the limitations of the DAW used. Any help would be appreciated. I have contacted Steinberg via chat and am waiting for a response from them as well.
