Mackie Universal pro and Cubase question

HI,

I have a Mackie Universal pro controler and I use it with cubase 4. When I bring up a vsti for some reason my controler is controling the synth as well…so when I press play or stop or any of the buttons it will make the synth sound when I do. I tried a bunch of preferences but I can’t seem to figure this one out. Hope you can help. If you need more info. I will be glad to supply.

In the midi devices window, you can select which midi controllers are active when ‘all midi inputs’ is selected as input for a MIDI track. Just untick your controller from there and you’re good to go :wink:
