Audio Devices: IK AxeI/O One, Elgato WaveXLR
I am running Cubase using the AxeI/O. Every time a system notification pops, Cubase will lock up for about 5-10 seconds.
There seems to be no way to disable audio devices in MacOS 12.
Running an aggregate device causes ASIO overload and latency issues so I haven’t even tested to see if that gets rid of the freezing.
“Do Not Disturb” on a Mac will disable pop-ups and audio for notifications, but when the event still happens, it will still lock up.
Sadly this is my main communication/work machine as well so quitting all applications that could cause notifications is not a good workaround for me.
Any ideas?
