I have a 2012 12 core MacPro with 16 gigs of ram and don’t use virtual instruments. Just audio recording and mixing. Are there any performance gains with 32 gigs in my situation? I do have SSD drives already.
Not really. You can checkout how much memory your cubase is using while you use it.
In application->utilitys->Activity Monitor. If it much smaller that 16 gigs you dont gain if it is much bigger yes. And if it is near it is harder to predict.
