Macro Knob Modulator, great for adding auto-gain to plugins

I’ve been setting up my Cubase templates plugins with Macro Knob auto-gain.

One issue though, is it seems using Quick Controls to control the Macro Knob isn’t as smooth as just using the Macro Knob directly.

Another qualm I have is, there isn’t fine enough control on the modulator parameters, using Keyboard-Shift affords a bit more fine control, but not enough…

I need fine control to properly match the input/output.

Here is the old school solution, that most people don’t like to use: switch the knob control with the mouse from up/down to circular in the Preferences. Then you get a finer resolution the further away you move the mouse from the knob.
