Macro Page - Mod matrix for multiple zones

Hi folks

Hit another roadblock along with my other post I made.

I’m trying to build a simple macro page for the sampler zones, which I can load in whatever I want but have universal basic controls for filter, tuning etc.

I would like a mod matrix. I have pinched the example from here for a mod matrix for a sample zone, but cannot fathom how to get it to work when I add other samples/zones. (the other multi synth thing I’m trying to build will need this too…) I’ve been through the documentation and been through the tutorial for creating mod matrix, and at a bit of a loss.

Any help would be appreciated!

On a small tangent after diving into the macro page creator over the last week, it’s been a pretty frustrating experience. Firstly there needs to be so much more learning content online/youtube about creating pages. Anything beyond a simple a simple 1 knob = 1 functions is not simple to get to grips with, and having visual tutorials would help if there were bite sized tutorials investigating all the concepts and common use scenarios. Such a thing would have saved me countless hours this week, and I’m still very stuck on more complex objects.

Secondly, the actual combining of objects and parts across an instrument as a macro is far too complex. It should not be this difficult to make a mod matrix for an instrument with more than one zone. Halion is sold with premise of being able to easily create your own instruments, but anything beyond very simple knob and slider functions or instruments with more than one sound source, this really isn’t the case at all.

It’s just strange how despite being so dense and feature rich, both the back end of halion and the macro editor have almost no content online of how to actually use it.

Just my 2 cents… :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help with this?

Specifically adapting the sample zone mod matrix example to work with multiple zones? Ideally just targeting every zone in the program, so they can be interchangeable.

I have been through the docs but cannot see any mention of how to do this, and have made some attempts at adjusting the included code, but no luck.

Would greatly appreciate any help

Cheers
