Made my own Sausage Fattener-style preset using only Cubase 15 stock FX + Modulators
It’s a Group Track preset with two main macro controls: FAT and COLOR, controlling a chain of stock effects via Cubase Modulators.
I’m not trying to make a 1:1 clone — they clearly sound different. Mine actually ended up quite a bit more aggressive, especially when FAT gets close to 100%, so be careful
In the video:
my preset → DRY → my preset → Dada Life Sausage Fattener → my preset
Everything is stock Cubase, so the preset is fully editable if you want to make it cleaner, dirtier, subtler, or completely ridiculous.
Curious which one you prefer on these examples.
