It’s been a little while since I posted a “Made With Dorico” link. Here’s a new one which I finished yesterday after having worked on it off-and-on since the 1990s. It’s my Woodwind Quintet No. 3, subtitled “Black Mesa.”
Despite the highly programmatic nature of the subtitle, I do not have a specific program in mind for all five movements of this 13-minute-long work. Instead, I offer a subtitle that could be interpreted in several different ways when combined with the music itself. I leave it up to the listener to make the final call.
