MADIface USB Missing ports?

Not quite sure what I’ve done here or changed, I’m used to seeing missing ports if I have a USB device powered down when I open a project that is using it, but all of a sudden I’m seeing missing ports for Midiface USB . Does anyone know what this can be?

my Arp and S700 are switch off so expect to see then in the list …

missing ports ?

Hi,

Is the MADIface connected at this moment?

Yes , what odd is my copy of Cubase isn’t doing this? So it’s something in the Nuendo.

I just disconnected my laptop to test. And it’s in the list when I open Nuedno but not Cubase

Also my MADIface is alway listed as MADIface USB (24119310)

Hi,

Do you use the same preferences setting? The same Control Room setting?

yes the same , can’t work out what MADIface USB is , even if I create a blank project save and open I get the missing port dialog

this has just started happing , never seen it before

To try and find what this is, I turned off my S700 (which I named) and it appears in the list , as I turn on the S700 it gets removed from the list

but I haven’t named anything (Stereo - Left) and

(Stereo - Right)

Ok I think is some bug or quark as I use a laptop , but it hasn’t happened before and I have only ever used Cubasew with a MacBook Pro .

anyway I found it , but the only way I did was disconnect from my main rig open just on laptop audio , then see these two random names and the stereo all very odd … remove them and its fixed.

hope this helps someone else
