I use Independence Free in a lot of my projects.
I recently upgraded to windows 7 and Cubase 6.5 from XP and C4. Although I am running the latest version of Independence Free, I get the following message when loading projects with it: “This layer patch is not compatible with your version of Independence. Please upgrade to the latest version.”
It’s not a show-stopper - I just have to go in and reassign all the sounds and the Independence mixer. But it’s a pain and shouldn’t be necessary.
Anyone had this problem and and found a solution?
