I couldn’t agree more - it is really a beautiful tool. I’ve been looking for a Morton Feldman quote which I can’t find, but he says something like: the history of music, much more than we realize, has been shaped by the tools used to make it. I really think having a beautiful tool helps to create beautiful music.
Couldn’t agree more. I’m also a day or so away from finishing the first part of a large orchestral piece (thanks Covid!). Dorico is such a pleasure to use. Not just for the program itself, but also the responsiveness and openness of the Dorico team and the sense of community in this forum.
