Maj7 triangle not changing after editing in chord symbol preferences

Hi all

I’m making a lead sheet in the “Golden Age” font that ships with Dorico. I’ve edited the triangle symbol in the chord preferences to be about the size I prefer for this font:

However, what displays in the chart doesn’t seem to reflect my edits properly:

I’m editing in the Library → engraving options → chord symbols → project default appearances window.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong? TIA!

Assuming you’re using Dorico Pro 6, those edits are only to that specific chord unless you promote it using the Apply to All Roots button. You edited a D chord so it will have no effect on the Db chord without using that button.

ah, thank you. I see that button, it was grayed out on some chord extensions, but it was active on one of them, and that seemed to do it
