Upon purchasing VST Pro (running v 4.0.40.180)
I get -
Cannot open socket, Probably another program or plugin is already using the port. Please close all other applications and try again.
There’s a newer version available, that may help you…?
Very rare case. Seems some other application is occupying the same port. Also make sure to not start two instances, or Performer along with Cubase with VST Connect - but that’s impossible anyway afaik.
Very often we have to learn that other internet tools are running in parallel to VST Connect. Pls make sure no skype, zoom, videos in browser etc are active while using VSt Connect, it may cause glitches, dropouts etc.
