Make a Bar Number Range Under a Single Bar

Howdy folks! I’m making a score for a recording session and ran into the following issue:

Aesthetically, I’d like this moment to be written as a fermata, but in reality the players are just holding the note for five bars. The issue lies in trying to sync the bar numbers to the session; I can’t find a way to display “128-132” underneath just one bar of music.

Admittedly, this is not a pressing issue, as I can just write out all five measures that the players will hold their notes for, but personal aesthetics demand that I do things this way if I can. For a more practical reason to do things this way: writing out all five bars of the “fermata” would increase all active player’s page counts by one, which is obviously not preferable.

Anyone have a solution for this?
Thanks Y’all!

Welcome to the forum!

You’d have to hide the 128 bar number and replace that with system text saying 128-132, then insert a bar number change at 129 to change that to 133.

Honestly though, I don’t mean to be snarky but I think “personal aesthetics” of this nature are just the type of thing that lead to raised hands and retakes, which in a recording session can be expensive. If I were sight reading this I’d hugely prefer unambiguous conventional notation. Also because:

I bet if you’re able to post the project, this can be fixed.
