Make a long tied note slightly longer

Hi,
I have a secondary voice (you can’t tell in the picture) that’s holding a low D octave for a long time (even longer than pictured). But I realized too late that I needed it to be slightly longer, as in the last half note should be a whole note. It’s really complicated to have to redo it all, but I can’t seem to just select that one half note to make it a whole. How can I easily adjust this half note to a whole note to be included in the tie?

Select the note and use alt/opt + shift + right arrow to make it longer in grid steps. (default 1/8).

Wow! Brilliant. Thank you SO much. I will be using this shortcut a lot!

And shorter of course with alt + shift + left arrow.

Also, the same key commands work for many other things as well.
Hairpins, Lines, etc…

Anything that has a duration works the same way! This is a very fundamental feature of Dorico.
