I’m trying to make Dorico Pro 6 display an alto sax part in C# major when the score is in E major, but it refuses to display any key signature other than Db major. I’ve clicked on the full score and alto saxophone layouts in setup and changed the transposition of written middle C to D#3, as others in the forums have suggested, but nothing changes. Can anyone offer some advice?

Try to come back to Eb, and to untick the option @Christian_R is pointing out.

Your screenshot doesn’t show how your transposition is set up. You said you changed Eb to D#, did you switch back tol Eb?

Why do you want to do that to the poor sax player? (Unless you’re playing it yourself - in which case: you do you.)
