Make given playback techniques hidden by default?

Hello,

I want to use trigger some articulations with a playback technique, but not display the playback technique on the score itself —the trigger wouldn’t make sense to players. (For example, if I want to trigger soft longs vs immediate longs). Is it possible to create a playback technique called “soft longs” but have it be hidden by default? The flag will be good enough for me to know its there.

This isn’t currently possible, but it’s something we are planning to add. However, I believe if you assign a key command to the command Hide/Show Item, you will be able to trigger that immediately after creating the playing technique, because it will be selected after having been created.
