Hi all,
I would like to assign the shortcut for hairpin (cresc.) to an F-key (rather than the standard “<“ key).
Is this possible within Dorico?
But if not: Do you have experience in how to work around that in Windows. Some external keycommand/macro-tool maybe?
(This is just an example. I also would like to e.g. assign certain dynamics to certain keys etc.)
Thanks, Stefan
You’d probably have to use something like Auto HotKey so that when you press Fx, it generates a <
Otherwise, for this level of customization, you might be better off with a StreamDeck, or there are iPad apps that can pass commands to Dorico.

You can’t add shortcut keys for these through the UI, but you can determine the syntax for what Dorico does by examining your application log and then assign a shortcut key by editing your key commands JSON file.
Doing something like this takes a little effort. Users here can provide more information if you want.
