Make tie arcs go the other way

Is there a way to change the arc - up or down - of a tie connecting two notes?

Look at the bottom of the screen, in the menu. look for the section “Ties” where you will see the direction you can choose. Up or down. Don’t forget to select the tie first.

Yes - select the note and change the ties direction property.

Or just select the tie and hit F for flip.

Edit: As @Christian_R points out, you need to do this in Engrave mode to avoid flipping the note stems

Just to add that, if you want to use the shortcut F (for flip direction), you need to select the tie in Engrave mode.
Otherwise, selecting it in Write mode would select the notes too (being this a tie chain), and so the F would flip the stems as well.
