I have a hymn with some notes repeated in soprano and alto/ bass and tenor. How can I make those notes have both an up and a down stem without adding a 2nd voice for that part?
You can’t, although I’m happy to stand corrected.
You can use two voices for those unison notes and then hide any unnecessary rests in the 2nd voice?
