I am trying to find a way of making text global in a score so that I do not have to go to each part and enter the text for it to show in individual parts. I looked in the properties panel, but did not see anything regarding text. I clicked on global with the hope that would make a difference, but it did not. Got any pointers to resolve this?
Sounds like you want to input system-attached text, which will behave in a similar way to tempo marks: it appears at system object positions in the score, and also in every part layout.
Unfortunately you can’t convert staff-attached text that already exists into system-attached text, but you can copy the contents and paste it into a new system-attached text item.
