As the title suggests, Is there a way to make the Beat lines in the Measures/Bars more visible. As oppose to only the Measure/Bar lines in the image below?
To rephrase my question.
Is there a way to make the blue marked lines in the image below stand out more than the rest?
Thanks, Nicolas.
Yes it only accentuates the lines inside the MIDI Event not the Key Editor grid. What you have in the Image is exactly what i want to achieve but it doesn’t seem to be the solution in the Event Display.
Hi,
You can change the color of the Grid Lines in the Preferences > User Interfaces > Coor Scheme > Editor Area Background.
If you make the color brighter, this will make all the lines brighter, the primary and the secondary lines too.
Yes but the point of the question is not to make them both brighter. It’s to make only the primary ones brighter/different.
Hi,
I’m sorry, this is not possible in Cubase.
I’m sorry but I think you’re contradicting yourself here.
I would think that “primary” in this context refers to the bar lines but you highlighted the sub-divisions.
Either way, i don’t believe you can alter them individually. They both fall under Project Area Background > Grid Lines.
This would be a good feature request however.
If I understand what you want:
- Use a signature track.
- In said signature track, edit the metronome pattern, so that all 3 hits (3/4 in your example) are the “maximum velocity”.
- Then go to the right side of the project window, there’s a small down arrow. Click it and check “Use Metronome Click Pattern Level for Grid Line Emphasis”
I hope it’s close to what you want.
Another thing I like is to use transparent events, so that the grid lines are always visible through the whole arrangement.
Ooh! That’s a neat trick!
Thank you for sharing.
I love this feature, it’s excellent!
Thank a lot @ggmanestraki ! This right there is what forums should be about!
