Why not integrate some kind of device in the dongle that can transmit a signal that can be located with a app on iphone or android devices
similar to “Tile”, it would a great comfort to people that are afraid to use any Steinberg program live for fear of losing the dongle! 
That’s an interesting idea, but there’s two issues: the tracker would be useless for a big portion of the current userbase and it would add quite a bit to the cost of the dongle.
It would be great if something like this existed as an alternative kind of dongle that you could buy, but IMO they shouldn’t completely replace the current model.
