Making The Plunge

Well guys; making the plunge to Cubase 9.5.

Just paid for the retail box with dongle, the Absolute 3 download package and KompAudio6 6x6 USB Audio Interface to be used with my Studiologic 1100. Should be here next Wednesday… I imagine I’ll be lurking here for quite a while as I’ll be running on Windows 10. Using the Rokit 8" speakers and a rather annoying 1100W Subwoofer so I can wake my neighbors up at night… :astonished: :laughing:

I’ve read the Pro 9.5 download is 13GB (?)

Anybody know what the download size is for Absolute 3? I’m just trying to plan if I need to do my downloading between 1 am to 8 am for free bandwidth…

Wow.! The journey begins… :smiley: You’re set up well there…

Don’t know about file size for the Absolute bundle, but I think it may be part of the new Steinberg Download Assistant app, in which case you can do it bit by bit, whenever’s comfortable for you (it’ll pick up where it left off etc).

Good luck - and there’s plenty of helpful folk on here, whenever you get stuck.!
