Many Native instrument plugins are blacklisted/crashed in Cubase 10.5

Hello,
After upgrading from Cubase pro 10 to 10.5, many Native instruments plugins are blacklisted/crashed in Cubase 10.5.
Do you have any workarounds?

Hi and welcome,

Get in touch with plug-in vendor, please.

I had a recent problem related to NI instruments/plugins being blacklisted in Cubase (not specifically in 10.5 ).

My problem only affected 64bit plugins. Spent ages on the phone with Chris from NI who tried everything remoted into my PC.

In the end by sheer determination and investigation I found out that the x64 version of the Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 runtime libraries had somehow been uninstalled from my PC.

I installed the relevant x64 version from Update for Visual C++ 2013 and Visual C++ Redistributable Package - Microsoft Support and rebooted.

Problem solved.

Hate those Microsoft runtime stuff. Always some problems with them. Thanks for the download link.

I had problems running the Native Instruments free plugin Raum which got blacklisted. What I did was copy the .dll file from the Native Instruments folder and paste it into the Cubase 10.5 VST Plugins folder.
i.e from
C:\Program Files\Native Instruments
to
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 10.5\VSTPlugins

Worked for me.
