Welcome to the forum, Lucinda. I agree that the lack of any marching percussion sounds included with Dorico is a problem, and we are working on solving that in future versions. The default marching snare drums/cymbals/toms/bass drums percussion kits that are included in the instrument picker are intended to be used with Tapspace Virtual Drumline, but of course those sounds are not included with Dorico itself, which leaves you in a bit of a quandary.
