Mark Tree Line

I seem to remember a while back a discussion on how to get the downward slanting wavy line used on Mark Tree notes. I remember it was some sort of work-around since the normal wavy line would not attach to the whole note in the Mark Tree part. Can someone refresh my memory, please?
