Marker - problems with 'valid range'

I wrote the soundtrack to a movie cue. The scene in the movie starts at 01:00:00:00. I would like to add a marker at the beginning of the cue indicating this timecode, but Dorico won’t let me do it. When trying to add a marker, I am told that the valid range is between 00:01:44:11 and 00:01:57:02. I have no idea why.

I know that you can offset timecodes in the Properties panel. However, even if I put down 01:00:00:00 as ‘Timecode start’, the problem persists.

Any insights as to what I’m doing wrong?

Could you attach the project itself, or send it to me via a private message if you’re not comfortable with sharing it here?

Hi @dspreadbury - sure, no problem. Here goes:

Did you ever learn a solution to this? I’m having the same problem.

The valid range is determined by the length of the video. What are your settings in the Video Properties dialog, and how long is your video?
