I’ll be so happy to soon share with you this software for Maschine Studio for Cubase. It started as a fun project, but I think it’s very promising. And I hope it would be useful for many of you once it’s ready.

Here are some screenshots of its capabalitiies and some of the features currently implemented and also what’s on the to-do list:
Features:
- It’s currently capable of recognizing the majority of Cubase track types, and showing icons and pictures according to the currently selected VST in the list on the screen on the left (With the same color as selected track)
- Show all 16 inserts and show/adjust their quick conrols with abilities to select between inserts and Instrument if it’s an instrument track
- Transport controls / Track controls Mute / Solo / Record Enable / Monitor / Read /Write
- Project Navigation and Organization (Select and Move Track and Nudge Clips) + Zoom Controls
- Opening and Browsing Media Bay and Quick Sampling
- Find
- Marker Track
- Macros list (TBD)
- Channel Strip (TBD) - Currently as you can see Pre-Gain can be adjusted by +/-0.5db and dedicated control of pre-gain for Master Bus and Mix Bus and Selected Track
- Color coding.
- Abilitity to show specific VST Intrument/Inserts GUI for example Super Vision on your mix bus or master bus
- Click Level (Metronome) Dedicated control
- Taping Tempo and Tempo Adjustment
- Fine Control of Grid Quantize and Grid Type (TBD)

Will you implement AI Knob (ie for the Jog wheel) ?
What is AI knob?
It’s a Cubase function to control the value of the parameter the mouse is over.
It has 2 parameters in MIDI Remote : the value itself and a Lock Parameter to bind the the current selected parameter to the controler untill it’s unlocked.
Maschine Studio Jog wheel could be used as the controler to transmit the AI value and a knob could act as the Lock trigger.

Ah okay! I thought of Artificial Intelligence ‘AI’ lol
I appreciate that but I haven’t developed a Mac app yet… will look into how to port it to mac but should be easy I hope. The script will be the same it’s just the companion app that I have to work on. The solution is still not stable on Windows. So I’m ironing it. and will release both platforms for public testing at the same time.
