How do I go about making this readable?
Have you have moved the voltas?
In Engrave mode, click on them. You can manually move them into place or turn off the offsets in the bottom panel for default.
although looking at it they are being placed high up because of your text and Rehearsal letter in a box above the time sig. In Engrave, you can move things around.

Thanks for the response, how do I moves the voltas around? Are they the green boxes?
They are the repeat ending brackets. Dorico tries to resolve collisions by moving items vertically, and under your repeat brackets you’ve got a rehearsal letter, a chord symbol, and text. That’s what’s pushing the brackets up into your title.
In Engrave mode, you can push all of these things around by hand.
