Yes, there is now an ‘Apply’ button in the master page editor, which means that you only need to take the hit of applying the edits when you’re done, rather than with every edit.
I don’t know if the actual process was streamlined or if it’s just the Apply button that makes everything seem like it takes less time, but, either way, good going!
