Master page set doesn't show in Layout options

I’m having all sorts of trouble using a master page set I created. I’m not at all experienced in the sophisticated craft that the “master page” concept appears to be part of, so there’s probably some super easy way to solve my problems. But before I outline them, I thought it might be a brilliant idea to apply the correct master page set to my layout.

But in Layout options, when I select my instrumental part and go to the category Page setup to choose my Master page set – I can only choose Default part or Default score, not my freshly created set. How come?

I find the MP concept works as expected, but it seems you have to apply them in Engrave mode (for now)
