Also, it’s important to keep in mind that the LUFS value represents the apparent overall loudness of the track, without addressing directly it’s dynamic range. In other words, two songs could have the same overall apparent loudness, but one sound much more interesting because it has a wider dynamic range.
The Loudness Range value in LUFS-type meters addresses that, there’s a nice description of that in the SOS link I put several posts up.
