i cant get cubase 6 to work with my m audio profire 610 interface i cant record cuz it dont give me no sound coming out and what do i need to do to fix this problem i just spend 500 on this software and it would be a wast of money if i could not get it to work and i want to use input 3 on the back of the interface any could help i would really be thankful

Select the maudio ASIO driver in device setup, and assign your hardware connections in VST connections (F4).
Create an audio track, set in and outputs accordingly, hit monitor, hit record enable, hit record and enjoy
