Maximizes volume to sound device

Hi!
Dorico seem to maximise my computer volume out, even though I play through my FireWire connected MOTU audio device… I just have to change app (to Safari or whatever) and as soon as I go back to Dorico, sound output volume is at highest possible…
Any ideas? Thanks

Ok, I solved it by unchecking “Set Device Attenuation To 0 dB” In preferences-general-play-audio device setup-Core audio device settings", see attached screenshot. Maybe simple for many of you…, thanks anyway! / rookie
