Hello everyone
When editing a score while the rehearsals go on, I often must input cuts, which change the measure numbers, but since some of the musicians already have a score, they just pencil in the cut in the old version.
Of course I can change the measure number, say, to jump form measure 50 to 72, but in SibXXX I could add a symbol such as an asterisk just after the measure number to indicate the cut.
So I’d number it 72* and the measure after 73 (no asterisk) and hide it, in order to avoid that all the consequent numbers still have the asterisk.
I don’t think I can do that in Dorico, maybe because there is a better solution? What do you guys advise?
