Measures have too many or too few beats – how to correct?

Hi, sorry for the newbie question!

I imported a MIDI file into Dorico and the project is set to 4/4 time.

I got bars with wrong beats like these:

Is there a way to check if each measure contains the correct total duration (i.e. 4 beats)?
Also, is there a function to automatically fix measures that have too many or too few beats, so that the whole score aligns correctly with the 4/4 time signature?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Ago, the fastest method is do Select All [Command(Control)+A], then right click and Filter for Time Signature. Delete. Select the first note or rest, and apply a 4/4 TS (with the Popover or with the Panel on the right).
Possibly also you need to select all, then filter for notes and chords, and in the Properties Panel, deactivate the Start Voice or End Voice overrides.
If this doesn’t help, upload your Dorico file here.

thanks so much Cristian, I’ll give it a try!
