Hello, Recently upgraded to C6 from CS4 (win7, 64). I am having trouble previewing Midi files in the media bay because when I go to select an instrument there is no option (except for Microsoft Wave…) I can have vst’s loaded in instrument tracks and as an instrument in the device list. Is this common and am I just missing something simple or do I need to dive further in? Also Control Room is off, which seems to cause a lot of people’s issues with not being able to hear audio files. The files appear to play through the previewer, but, obviously, without sound because no instrument is loaded.
VSTi has to be loaded in the Instrument Rack to be available there.
