If I have Halion Sonic set as my preview instrument in Media Bay, whenever I select another MIDI file the volume of Halion Sonic is immediately set to -120db. When I reset the volume back to 0 the MIDI previews just fine. Note that this applies to all MIDI. It isn’t a particular set of MIDI that might have some sort of CCs doing this.
