Media bay not working

Something happened to my media bay and it stopped working. Files won’t play and i can’t drag audio files into the main window.

The wave form does not show on the btoom part of the screen and double clicking on an audio file does nothing.

I had hit something and a virtual keyboard showed up at the bottome. i got that to disappear but I’m still having this issue.

I’ve been using it and this happened in the middle of a session and the files are showing

Have you tried temporarily disabling your preferences by starting Cubase in Safe Mode?

I just did and it worked again. Which preference do i need to replace?

Please start by deleting the MediaBay files mentioned here:

Thanks very much. I deleted the defaults and that did it. I don’t feel like i lost much of anything in the process with my workflow by doing that.
