Media Bay preview sound weird/slowed

Hello guys
I have an issue with previewing sounds in MediaBay. When I click an audio file it plays it in preview mode much slower and with some echo so audio files sound nowhere close to their real sound, but when I add them the track they are OK. Any idea why this can happen?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Is the MediaBay preview in sync with the project tempo?

How is the preview routed? Do you use Control Room or not?

Martin, yes I realized the tempo was not aligned and the Control room was not set up properly. Thanks
