cant find description in manual.
I thought it will fix some wrong tempo detection, but in my case doesn’t
or i miss something ?

I have a feeling we discussed this function few month ago here. I remember we went to the conclusion the string is not very self-explaining. If I’m not wrong, the function checks, if there is any meta-data about the tempo in the file.
Or another option what it could be (totally different)… 
It tries to recalculate the tempo in the 4/4 or 3/4 signature.
