Mediabay - Clicking vs Up/Down - Inconsistent

Do I have my preferences wrong somewhere..or there an inconsistency in the way mediabay is much faster in audio file playback using up/down arrows vs clicking with the mouse?

Seems to take too long to think about when it’s clicked with a mouse. Arrow browsing is pretty much instant preview…even when scrolling through fast.

Very similar behavior in the Groove Agent sample browser in which I am betting uses the same mediabay system.

I think the reason behind this is something like: when you click, Cubase logic must decide what to do after the initial click. For example, if you are to drag the item then Cubase must adapt to the users interactions and figure what is needed, and in this case playing right away is not the best choice.
It’s not perfect, but I prefer to flexibility and this is familiar behavior across popular applications.
