How do I disable mediabay/preset manager from saving duplicate copies of .vstpreset for all 3rd party presets? It always saves my user presets into the vst factory folder for any 3rd party plugin. Then I always get duplicates when I try to load any of my user presets.
It does not do this for Steinberg-Cubase plugins and the presets go where they should, with no duplicates.

can you be more specific and post the path of the factory folder as well as screenshots? Do you see actual copies of the vstpreset in a folder (screenshot, please)?
If I save 3rd party plugin presets as *vstpreset I don’t get duplicates in the dedicated VST3 folder. Maybe we are talking about different things?
NEVERMIND…I figured it out.
Would you mind to share in case someone else is running into a similar problem?
It was my poor management(and memory) of my symlinks in windows. I had mistakenly mapped both the user and factory presets folder to the same folder.
