MediaBay is auto slicing my samples when loading into project

Hi,
when i use medially and select a solid sample, when it adds it to my project it seems to be auto slicing it and now i can’t change the transpose pitch of the sample as it appears glued together. How can i stop media bay from slicing the samples when i double click them to be inserted to project.

What kind of format is it? Are these WAV files or REX files or something different?
