Melodyne ARA2 - auto scroll annoying behaviour when blob selected

Using Melodyne 5.1 - cubase 11

I normally want auto scroll on (melodyne > options > autoscroll)
As soon as you select a blob then auto scroll is disabled (icon on the bottom right changes to auto scroll temp disabled)
Click on the autoscroll icon…and auto scroll option is enabled BUT becomes unticked in options > autoscroll. Renable it and the autoscroll icon goes back to disabled…etc etc.

Comes back to normal if you deselect the blob

Is there a way to have autoscroll enabled whilst a blob is selected ?

looks like this is a ‘helpful feature’ in melodyne - no way to override it :frowning:
