I have a question for Melodyne workflow in Cubase. I usually want to work on audio tracks with melodyne before my arrangement is finished. That is, I want to move my takes around in the song after working with Melodyne. But in Melodyne the recorded audio of course does not know that the event has moved, and thereforethe processed audio stubbornly stays where it is. Is there any way to make the Meldyne processed audio move with a clip?
I know of two workarounds, both of which are a pain:
- bouncing the track
- moving the events manually in the Melodyne timeline
For Steinberg: is there any chance that you add support for the ARA plugin extension that Melodyne supports? As I understand it, with that extension Melodyne can understand from the underlying DAW host that a clip has moved…
